- Are 50 and older and have never had a Colonoscopy.
- Are 45 and older and of African-American or Eastern European Jewish descent.
- Are younger than 50 and have a parent who was under 60, a sibling, or a child who has had colon polyps or cancer.
- Have a history of colon polyps identified more than 5 years ago.
If you said yes to any of the risk factors listed above, you are at risk for colon cancer.
A Colonoscopy can dramatically reduce that tisk.
